Mastery goals are focused on increasing knowledge, whereas performance goals are focused on demonstrating skill and ability. Don't let a performance goal mindset lead to avoidance of tasks that might expose weaknesses. You will end up missing opportunities that foster development. Choose challenging tasks and use adaptive learning strategies.

Comprehensive Review

Focused topical review is complete. Now your job is to cycle the knowledge base in comprehensive review. Reinforce the structure of the knowledge base. Remediate any remaining challenges. Bring agency and efficacy towards this process. You are responsible for the fitness of your knowledge base. Here are some suggestions for comprehensive study cycles. Some of these might take just a few hours, and some might extend over several modules. This is a major focus from here-on-out.
