Content Review that Actually Works
An effective content review course for the Foundations of Living Systems MCAT should provide not only coverage of the AAMC topical goals but also the deeper interdisciplinary goals of the exam. It should follow a spiraling, integrated curriculum so that physics ideas help explain chemistry in a common sense way, and the physical sciences become a foundation for understanding the plot in biochemistry. It should be developed through years of live teaching so it will reflect what actually helps people on the test, and then it should be made available for a wider audience free without subscription. It should be more interesting than traditional content review, raise MCAT scores, and improve the scientific understanding of future doctors. — John Wetzel.
Our Business Model
There will soon be a low cost social learning environment ($14.95/mo) attached to this MCAT course in which students will be able to get individualized help, participate in study groups, and receive admissions advice. We will teach test strategy in webinars and provide course support. That's our model! The Pre-Med Village Community School is opening soon!
